Merry (almost) Christmas! This season is FLYING. Anyone else way behind on to-dos?? My little babe turned 8 weeks old on Monday and this momma cannot handle. She’s already changed so much! I love every cuddle and every sound she makes, and I just want to hold on to these moments forever.
We just had our first actual outing. You know, aside from doctor’s appointments or quick trips to Noni’s (aka my mom’s.) We went to my husband’s family Christmas. WOOF, talk about stressful. The things running through my mind… do I have enough diapers, did I grab her paci, I really need to buy her warm clothes…the list goes on and on. As a breastfeeding mom, it’s nice to know that no matter where I am, she can be fed. It’s not something I have to put too much thought into packing. However, sometimes, you need that bottle moment. It’s an especially great thing for that late night feeding where dad can bond with her, or if my mom is watching her on the cusp of a feeding time and I just can’t make it there before we enter a natural disaster status. So when we were packing, I was excited to use our new Chicco Natural Fit bottles. Normally, I’m a glass person. The bottles I got her before she was born are glass and we use them at home. But they are HEAVY. These lightweight, Chicco bottles were perfect for this trip. Easy to pack and easy to use thanks to the already tilted nipple. Dad likes this feature the most, since it’s easy to feed her too quickly. (Homegirl can eat!) This Chicco set has 2 sizes in it – a 5 oz and an 8 oz and the curve in the bottle makes it super easy to hold.
We use the Wubbanub pacifiers at our house, but we were excited to try the Chicco ones! The clip made it really easy for all the family to pass her around and it not fall off, or fall on the floor, resulting in endless sanitation trips, which was really nice. Plus, how sweet are the pink ones!!
If you have anyone in need of a baby shower gift, or a Christmas gift for their new babe, check out this Chicco set! PS it’s under $30! SCORE.
