Print mixing can be scary. Did I do this right? Do I look like a toddler who got to pick out their outfit for the first time? Do these shoes really work?? Oh forget it, where are my leggings?!?! These are some of the things that run through my head when I try something new and sometimes, scary when it comes to wardrobe adventures. I put together this outfit for a shopping day with my mom. I wanted to be cute, but I also wanted to be comfortable and in an outfit that I could easily change in and out of quickly. The top is my favorite top of late – a simple, slightly cropped long sleeve sweater/shirt hybrid from Zara and tried for some mixed print fun by pairing it with a floral older Anthropologie skirt. Here comes the real comfort part – the New Balance action. I was a little nervous to do this, but decided to just let it happen, and I’m so glad I did. The pop of bright orange plays on the bright pinks in the skirt and keep the outfit from being too brunch date-y. Chilly out? Throw on your go-to blush moto jacket for a sweet, but edgy feel.
