AHH I’M SO EXCITED!! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have been chomping at the bit to share these amazing photos with you! I met up with the fab photographer, Rebecca, of Beckley & Co, early one Saturday morning and these are just some of the gems that she took. While I adore and appreciate my sweet husband for taking my pictures and dealing with the giant learning curve that we are both operating under, it really was such a treat to be photographed by someone who knows what you need and can create the vision you cannot create for yourself. We decided to shoot in The Bishop Arts district and at 7AM, it was so peaceful. I felt like I took a mini vacation to Europe and got lost in an adorable village. It also felt like Fall for just a minute and it was so wonderful. Since I was shooting with a real photographer, I went for a classic “Obviously Elizabeth” look– which means collared shirts + bold lipstick. This look is 90% J. Crew and even though it happened on accident, I’m not even sorry about it. The long boyfriend shirt is strangely versatile and I am not one to shy away from the oversized button downs. But what really built the outfit were the tuxedo trim chinos that I found recently at J. Crew. YALL– they are so comfy!! Plus stripes on strips in never a bad idea. I added bright colored jewelry to add some playfulness and went for my go-to basic shoes to add a little height with zero distraction.
